A Few of My Favorite Places...To Shop!

I am a shopping addict, and a firm believer in retail therapy. This often leads to me having a hefty closet, and a dry bank account. Here are my top 4 FAVORITE places to shop, and some of the items I've bought from there!

1. The Red Dress Boutique

THANK GOD FOR THIS SITE. Seriously, if I know I have an event coming up where I need to get fancy, Red Dress is the first place I look for super cute dresses. They sell jewelry, shoes, and other accessories too! Here's a few I've bought/love:

2. Forever 21
This is basically the only store at my mall that has anything to offer me. I love their cheap prices for jewelry and accessories. I feel like I can never leave there without something. Here's a few:

3. Haystacks

Few reasons why I love this place. First, it's a MICHIGAN company! YAY! I am an avid headband wearer, and they have tons of cute ones to pick from, and they're only $6 a piece! That's a steal! They got tons of cute jewelry too, all from Leland, MI! Here's some fabric options for the headbands that I own:

4. Francesca's

If it isn't obvious yet, I love accessories. Francesca's has a HUGE selection. Sometimes they're a little pricier than I'd like, but they last a long time. They have great clothes too! Here's some of my faves:

Loving These Sweet Notes!

So, my dear friend Ashley Bouchez was given a gift from God to be crafty and individual. She sells homemade greeting cards from her etsy website love on a page. It's seriously precious, guys.

Her and I at our reunion in South Carolina this past week, isn't she great?

Here's some of her work, and some of my favorites!

This one is my favorite, just sent it to a friend last week!

What's great about Ashley's cards is that they are so inexpensive! Ranging anywhere from $3-$5. Who wouldn't want to have some of that love in their mailbox? I love it, almost as much as I love her.

Waterfall Braid with a Messy Bun

You all have no idea how many times I've been asked to do a tutorial of this picture...

(yup, that's me!)

It's actually pretty simple! I learned how to do it by watching a video of a waterfall braid tutorial. I don't have one personally, but make sure to check one out before you start!

So start with your bangs first. Once you watch a video on waterfall braiding, you'll understand. Start your braid at the ear, and braid so that the hair you 'leave behind' goes towards where your ponytail will be.

After you've braided across the front of your head, bobby pin them the hair in place. Personally, I like my hair big, so I pushed the braid forward a little to give it a little volume. You may need to fix the braid a little to fit to how you like it.

The messy bun couldn't be easier to do. I used a regular hair tie, and placed the bun directly on top of my head. I have pretty long hair, so the extra kinda hung in awkward places. To fix it, I took that hair and wrapped it around the hair tie and bobby pinned it into place.

That's it! So simple. I see when other people pin this photo on Pinterest, they make it seem way harder. It literally took me 10 minutes tops!

Hope you enjoy, and sorry to those who asked me to do this that it wasn't sooner!

My first post!

Hi friends! I made this blog to be a collision of the two blogs I already have. I have a fashion blog and more of a "spiritual diary" blog, and I really wanted to put the two of them together!

This is the adventure of Aleesha's life. Hope you enjoy the ride!
